Description

These Cinnamon Roll French Toast Bites are a deliciously sweet breakfast treat that combines the warm, fluffy goodness of cinnamon rolls with the rich, custardy texture of French toast. Perfect for a weekend brunch or a fun breakfast with the family, served with maple syrup, cream cheese glaze, and your favorite toppings!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can of refrigerated cinnamon rolls (or homemade cinnamon rolls), cut into bite-sized pieces

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1/2 cup of milk (whole milk recommended, but any type will work)

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 2 tablespoons butter, for frying

  • Maple syrup or cream cheese glaze, for serving

  • Optional toppings: fresh berries, powdered sugar, whipped cream

Instructions

  • Cut the cinnamon rolls into bite-sized pieces.

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until well combined.

  • Heat a skillet or frying pan over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of butter.

  • Dip each piece of cinnamon roll into the egg mixture, coating it thoroughly, and then fry in the skillet, cooking until golden brown and crispy on all sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.

  • Remove the bites from the skillet and place them on a paper towel to drain excess butter.

  • Serve with maple syrup or cream cheese glaze and optional toppings like fresh berries, powdered sugar, or whipped cream.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of nutmeg to the egg mixture.

Feel free to use homemade cinnamon rolls if you’re looking for a more personalized touch.
