Description
This Cranberry Pecan Cream Cheese Ball is a delicious blend of tangy cream cheese, sweet cranberries, and crunchy pecans. It’s the perfect appetizer for your next party or holiday gathering, offering the perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors in every bite.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup dried cranberries, chopped
- 1/4 cup pecans, chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon (optional, for extra flavor)
- 1–2 tbsp honey (optional, for sweetness)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth and creamy.
- Add the chopped cranberries, pecans, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Mix well to combine.
- Use your hands to shape the mixture into a ball. If it’s too sticky, you can refrigerate it for 30 minutes to firm up.
- Roll the cream cheese ball in chopped pecans and parsley to coat evenly.
- Place the ball on a serving platter and refrigerate until ready to serve. You can also serve it right away, but chilling allows the flavors to meld.
- Serve with crackers, sliced baguette, or fresh fruit for dipping.
Notes
- Feel free to adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey to taste.
- For a different twist, try substituting the cranberries with raisins or chopped dried apricots.
- You can make the cream cheese ball a day ahead of time; just keep it covered in the refrigerator.
