Description

Sweet and tangy grilled pineapple slices, caramelized with brown sugar and lime juice, finished with a touch of melted butter. Perfect as a refreshing dessert or side dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 large fresh pineapple

  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar

  • Juice of 2 limes

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted


Instructions

  1. Peel and core the pineapple, then cut into rings or spears about 1/2 inch thick.

  2. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and lime juice until sugar dissolves.

  3. Brush pineapple slices with the lime and sugar mixture on both sides.

  4. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

  5. Place pineapple on the grill and cook for 3–4 minutes per side, until caramelized and grill marks appear.

  6. Remove from grill and brush with melted butter.

  7. Serve warm as a dessert or side.

Notes

For extra flavor, sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon or chili powder before grilling.

Can be served with ice cream or yogurt for a sweet treat.
