Ingredients

1 large fresh pineapple

Juice of 2 limes

Instructions

Peel and core the pineapple, then cut into rings or spears about 1/2 inch thick.

In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and lime juice until sugar dissolves.

Brush pineapple slices with the lime and sugar mixture on both sides.

Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

Place pineapple on the grill and cook for 3–4 minutes per side, until caramelized and grill marks appear.

Remove from grill and brush with melted butter.

Notes
For extra flavor, sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon or chili powder before grilling.
