Hot Fudge Sauce:

-
2/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

8oz evaporated milk or half-and-half
-
3/4 cup granulated sugar
-
6 tbsp cocoa powder
-
1/4 tsp salt
-
2 tbsp vanilla extract
Instructions
For the Hot Fudge Brownie Loaf:
-
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
-
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
-
In a saucepan, melt the salted butter over medium heat, then cook until it turns a golden brown color (about 5 minutes). Be careful not to burn it.
-
In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted browned butter and granulated sugar. Mix until well combined.
-
Add the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract, mixing after each addition.
-
Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, alternating with the buttermilk (or milk + vinegar mixture), beginning and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
-
Stir in the hot fudge sauce and chocolate chips, mixing gently.
-
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
-
Bake for 40-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
-
Allow the loaf to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
For the Hot Fudge Sauce:
-
In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
-
Add the semi-sweet chocolate chips, evaporated milk (or half-and-half), sugar, cocoa powder, and salt. Stir constantly until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
-
Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
-
Let the sauce cool slightly before drizzling over the cooled brownie bread.
Notes
-
Serve the hot fudge brownie bread warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for the ultimate indulgence.
-
For a more intense chocolate flavor, use dark chocolate chips in the batter and sauce.
