Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup cottage cheese (preferably full-fat for creaminess)
  • 12 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder (adjust to taste)
  • 12 tsp powdered sweetener of choice (such as erythritol or monk fruit)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

 

  • Optional: 1-2 tbsp melted dark chocolate for extra richness

Instructions

  • Place the cottage cheese, cocoa powder, sweetener, and vanilla extract into a blender or food processor.
  • Blend until smooth and creamy. If you want a smoother texture, you can blend it for longer.
  • Taste and adjust the sweetness or cocoa powder to your liking.
  • If using, melt the dark chocolate and stir it into the mousse for an added depth of flavor.
  • Refrigerate for about 30 minutes to chill and let the flavors meld together.

 

  • Serve in small bowls or cups and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a thicker mousse, use full-fat cottage cheese. For a lighter version, you can opt for low-fat or fat-free cottage cheese.
  • You can add a pinch of salt to enhance the chocolate flavor.
