- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- Optional: 1-2 tbsp melted dark chocolate for extra richness
Instructions
- Place the cottage cheese, cocoa powder, sweetener, and vanilla extract into a blender or food processor.
- Blend until smooth and creamy. If you want a smoother texture, you can blend it for longer.
- Taste and adjust the sweetness or cocoa powder to your liking.
- If using, melt the dark chocolate and stir it into the mousse for an added depth of flavor.
- Refrigerate for about 30 minutes to chill and let the flavors meld together.
- Serve in small bowls or cups and enjoy!
Notes
- For a thicker mousse, use full-fat cottage cheese. For a lighter version, you can opt for low-fat or fat-free cottage cheese.
- You can add a pinch of salt to enhance the chocolate flavor.
- If you don’t want to use dark chocolate, you can skip it, and the mousse will still taste amazing.
