Description

These easy and quick no-bake cookies are a chocolatey, peanut buttery treat that come together in just minutes! With oats, cocoa, and a creamy peanut butter base, they’re perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth without having to turn on the oven. Great for a snack or dessert!


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups quick oats (or old-fashioned oats, if preferred)

Instructions

  • In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Once the butter is melted, add the sugar, milk, and cocoa powder. Stir to combine and bring the mixture to a boil.
  • Let it boil for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly, then remove from the heat.
  • Stir in the peanut butter and vanilla extract until the peanut butter is completely melted and the mixture is smooth.
  • Add the oats and stir until fully combined.
  • Drop spoonfuls of the cookie mixture onto a sheet of wax paper or parchment paper, spreading them out to your desired size.
  • Let the cookies cool and set at room temperature for about 30-45 minutes, or until firm.

Notes

  • If you want a firmer texture, refrigerate the cookies for 10-15 minutes after they cool to room temperature.
  • For a twist, you can add chopped nuts, chocolate chips, or coconut flakes to the mixture before scooping.
