Description

Deliciously rich and creamy Snickerdoodle Truffles with a buttery cream cheese and Oreo filling, coated in smooth white chocolate and dusted with cinnamon sugar. These bite-sized treats capture the classic snickerdoodle flavor in a fun and easy no-bake dessert perfect for parties or gifting.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Filling:

  • 14.3-ounce package Golden Oreos (about 36 sandwich cookies)

  • 8 ounces block-style cream cheese, softened

  • 3 teaspoons ground cinnamon

For the Coating:

  • 20 ounces Ghirardelli white chocolate wafers, divided and melted

  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar

  • 1½ teaspoons ground cinnamon, divided

Instructions

  • Crush the Golden Oreos finely using a food processor or by placing them in a ziplock bag and crushing with a rolling pin.

  • In a large bowl, combine crushed Oreos, softened cream cheese, and 3 teaspoons cinnamon. Mix until fully combined into a dough-like consistency.

  • Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Freeze for at least 30 minutes to firm up.

  • Melt half of the white chocolate wafers according to package instructions.

  • Dip each chilled truffle into the melted white chocolate, ensuring it’s fully coated. Return to the baking sheet.

  • Mix granulated sugar and ¾ teaspoon cinnamon. Sprinkle or roll the coated truffles in this cinnamon sugar mixture.

  • Melt the remaining white chocolate wafers. Drizzle over the truffles for decoration (optional).

  • Sprinkle the remaining ¾ teaspoon cinnamon over the drizzle if desired.

  • Refrigerate until set, about 15 minutes. Keep refrigerated until serving.

Notes

For easier dipping, work in batches and keep the truffles chilled.

Substitute white chocolate with milk or dark chocolate if preferred.

Store truffles in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week
