Description

This hearty Beef and Rotini in Garlic Parmesan Sauce is a comforting, creamy dish made with ground beef, rotini pasta, and a rich garlic Parmesan sauce. Topped with fresh parsley, it’s a satisfying meal that’s quick, easy, and perfect for a weeknight dinner!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 ounces rotini pasta

  • 1 pound ground beef

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

  • 2 cups milk

  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Cook the Pasta:
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Cook the rotini pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  • Cook the Beef:
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil (or butter) over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Once browned, drain any excess fat.

  • Prepare the Garlic Parmesan Sauce:
Add the minced garlic to the skillet with the cooked beef and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant. Sprinkle the flour over the beef and garlic, stirring to combine. Cook for another 1-2 minutes to eliminate the raw flour taste.

  • Add the Milk and Seasonings:
Slowly pour in the milk, stirring constantly to create a smooth sauce. Add the grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Continue stirring until the sauce thickens and the cheese melts into the sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  • Combine Pasta and Sauce:
Add the cooked rotini pasta to the skillet and toss to coat the pasta in the creamy garlic Parmesan sauce. Heat for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is well combined and heated through.

  • Serve:
Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve hot. Enjoy your creamy Beef and Rotini in Garlic Parmesan Sauce!

Notes

For a spicier kick, you can add red pepper flakes to the sauce

You can substitute the ground beef with ground turkey or chicken for a leaner version.

For extra creaminess, you can use half-and-half or heavy cream instead of milk.
