Description

Cajun Shrimp and Steak Alfredo Pasta is a bold, creamy, and indulgent dish that combines tender sirloin, juicy shrimp, and pasta in a spicy, cheesy Alfredo sauce. It’s the perfect restaurant-style comfort food that you can whip up at home in under an hour — ideal for date nights, family dinners, or when you’re craving something extra satisfying.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless sirloin steak, thinly sliced

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 2 tbsp olive oil (divided)

  • 1½ tsp paprika (1 tsp for steak, ½ tsp for shrimp)

  • ¾ tsp garlic powder (½ tsp for steak, ¼ tsp for shrimp)

  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper

  • ½ tsp black pepper (¼ tsp for steak, ¼ tsp for shrimp)

  • 1 (10.75 oz) can condensed cream of mushroom soup

  • 1 cup milk

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • ¼ tsp dried oregano

  • 1 lb penne pasta, cooked according to package directions

Instructions

  1. Season the meat:

    • In a bowl, toss sliced steak with 1 tsp paprika, ½ tsp garlic powder, ¼ tsp black pepper.

    • In another bowl, season the shrimp with ½ tsp paprika, ¼ tsp garlic powder, ¼ tsp black pepper, and cayenne pepper.

  2. Cook the steak and shrimp:

    • Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak and sear until browned and cooked through (about 4–5 minutes). Remove and set aside.

    • In the same skillet, add remaining 1 tbsp olive oil and cook the shrimp until pink and opaque, about 2–3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.

  3. Make the Alfredo sauce:

    • In the same pan, reduce heat to medium. Add condensed cream of mushroom soup and milk, stirring until smooth.

    • Add Parmesan cheese and oregano. Simmer for 2–3 minutes, stirring until sauce thickens slightly.

  4. Combine:

    • Add cooked pasta, steak, and shrimp into the sauce. Toss to coat evenly and heat through for 1–2 minutes.

  5. Serve immediately with extra Parmesan or chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

Substitute heavy cream for milk if you want a richer Alfredo sauce.

Add mushrooms, spinach, or sun-dried tomatoes for a veggie boost.

This recipe is spicy — reduce cayenne for a milder version.
