Description
A rich and creamy Alfredo sauce that’s a perfect copycat of the Olive Garden’s famous recipe. This sauce is indulgent and perfect for tossing with pasta or drizzling over your favorite Italian dishes.
Ingredients
-
4 cups heavy cream
-
8 ounces butter
-
1 1/2 cups Parmesan cheese
-
1 teaspoon garlic puree or garlic powder
-
1 pound pasta (cooked according to package directions)
Instructions
-
In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
-
Add the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Let it simmer for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
-
Reduce the heat to low, then slowly whisk in the Parmesan cheese until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
-
Stir in the garlic puree or garlic powder to taste.
-
Toss with your cooked pasta and serve immediately.
Notes
For an even creamier sauce, you can add a bit more cheese.
You can substitute garlic puree with minced fresh garlic for a stronger flavor.
This sauce is ideal for fettuccine, but it pairs well with any pasta of your choice.
