  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for a little heat)
  • 1 lb lump crab meat, drained and picked over for shells
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or a mix of cheddar and Monterey Jack)
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper (if using), lemon juice, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
  • Stir in the crab meat, shredded cheddar cheese, and chopped parsley until well combined.
  • Transfer the mixture to a small baking dish (such as a 9×9-inch or an 8×8-inch dish).
  • If desired, sprinkle the top of the dip with grated Parmesan cheese for an extra layer of flavor.
  • Bake the dip in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and the top is lightly golden.
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
  • Serve with crackers, toasted bread, or fresh veggies for dipping.

Notes

  • Add some extra hot sauce, Old Bay seasoning, or freshly squeezed lemon juice for a more zesty flavor.
  • If you’re short on time, this dip can be made ahead of time and refrigerated for up to 24 hours before baking.
