Ingredients

Scale

Pasta & Cheese

  • 10 oz farfalle (bow-tie) pasta

  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese

Chicken

  • 1.5 lb chicken thighs or breasts (skinless, boneless)

  • 1.5 tsp smoked paprika

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • ¼ tsp salt

  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

  • 2 Tbsp olive oil

Corn

  • 1 Tbsp olive oil

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 2 cups cooked corn kernels (about 4 ears of corn)

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • 1 tsp chili powder

Other

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 8 strips cooked bacon, chopped

  • Fresh herbs (thyme, oregano, or marjoram) for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta

    • Cook farfalle according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. Prepare chicken

    • Season chicken with smoked paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.

    • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side. Remove and slice.

  3. Cook corn

    • In the same skillet, heat olive oil. Add cooked corn kernels, season with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and chili powder. Sauté for 3-4 minutes.

  4. Make creamy sauce

    • Lower heat and add heavy cream to the skillet with corn. Simmer gently to thicken slightly.

  5. Combine

    • Add pasta, sliced chicken, and half the Parmesan cheese to the sauce. Toss gently to coat everything evenly.

  6. Serve

    • Plate the pasta and sprinkle with remaining Parmesan, chopped cooked bacon, and fresh herbs.

Notes

Chicken choice: Thighs offer juicier, richer flavor; breasts make a leaner dish.

Corn: Fresh corn is best, but frozen can substitute.

Spice level: Adjust chili powder for milder or spicier taste.

Herbs: Fresh thyme or oregano complement smoky paprika well.

Make-ahead: Cook chicken and bacon ahead to save time.
