Ingredients
Scale
- 2 lbs skirt steak
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- 6 teaspoons garlic, minced
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup chopped parsley
Instructions
-
Prepare the Steak:
- Season both sides of the skirt steak generously with salt and pepper.
- Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steak and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until your desired level of doneness is achieved. For medium-rare, aim for an internal temperature of 130°F (54°C).
- Remove the steak from the heat and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
-
Make the Garlic Butter:
- In a separate small skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant and golden, being careful not to burn the garlic.
- Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley.
-
Serve:
- Slice the skirt steak against the grain and drizzle the garlic butter over the top.
- Serve immediately with your favorite side dishes, such as rice, grilled vegetables, or a simple salad.
Notes
- You can substitute skirt steak with flank steak for a similar texture.
- For extra flavor, marinate the steak in olive oil, garlic, and spices for a couple of hours before cooking.
- Adjust the amount of garlic and butter to suit your taste preferences.
