  • 2 lbs skirt steak
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 6 teaspoons garlic, minced
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup chopped parsley

Instructions

  • Prepare the Steak:

    • Season both sides of the skirt steak generously with salt and pepper.
    • Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steak and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until your desired level of doneness is achieved. For medium-rare, aim for an internal temperature of 130°F (54°C).
    • Remove the steak from the heat and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  • Make the Garlic Butter:

    • In a separate small skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
    • Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant and golden, being careful not to burn the garlic.
    • Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley.
  • Serve:

    • Slice the skirt steak against the grain and drizzle the garlic butter over the top.
