Instructions
- Prepare the Vegetables:
- Clean and slice the mushrooms.
- Wash and chop the spinach.
- Sauté the Mushrooms:
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they release their moisture and begin to brown.
- Add Garlic and Spinach:
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for another minute until fragrant.
- Add the spinach and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the spinach wilts.
- Season the Dish:
- Season with salt, pepper, and thyme (if using).
- Stir in butter and balsamic vinegar (optional) and cook for another minute.
- Serve:
- Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with chopped parsley.
- Serve immediately.
