Description

A savory, flavorful meatloaf made with Lipton Onion Soup Mix, ground beef, and a mix of classic seasonings. It’s quick to prepare and perfect for a family dinner.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds lean ground beef

  • 1 envelope of Lipton Onion Soup Mix

  • 2 large eggs

  • ½ cup ketchup

  • ½ cup dry bread crumbs (plain or Italian)

  • ¼ cup water

  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • Additional ketchup or barbecue sauce for the top of the meatloaf


Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, Lipton Onion Soup Mix, eggs, ketchup, bread crumbs, water, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder.

  • Mix everything together until well combined.

  • Form the mixture into a loaf shape and place it in a baking dish or on a lined baking sheet.

  • Spread additional ketchup or barbecue sauce over the top of the meatloaf.

  • Bake for 1 hour or until the meatloaf is fully cooked and the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).

 

  • Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

You can add extra seasonings to your liking, such as black pepper or onion powder.

If you prefer a firmer texture, use Italian bread crumbs

This meatloaf pairs well with mashed potatoes and vegetables for a complete meal.
