Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1/2 cup cocktail sauce (store-bought or homemade)

  • Lemon wedges, for garnish

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)


Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  • In a bowl, toss the shrimp with olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper.

  • Arrange the shrimp in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  • Roast the shrimp in the preheated oven for 6-8 minutes, or until they are pink and opaque.

  • Remove from the oven and allow the shrimp to cool slightly.

 

  • Serve the shrimp with cocktail sauce for dipping, and garnish with lemon wedges and fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

  • You can use frozen shrimp, but be sure to thaw them properly before cooking.

  • Serve with extra lemon wedges or a side salad for a complete meal.

 

  • Customize the cocktail sauce by adding horseradish for extra heat.
