Description

This roasted cauliflower is a perfect balance of sweet, spicy, and savory. The flavors are enhanced with honey, soy sauce, lemon, and sriracha, making it a flavorful side dish or snack that’s sure to please!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce

  • 2 tablespoons honey

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 2 teaspoons sriracha (adjust to taste, add more if you like it extra spicy)

  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic

  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

  • Florets from 1 medium to large head of cauliflower (about lbs)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.

  2. Prepare the cauliflower:
Cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets and place them in a large mixing bowl.

  3. Make the sauce:
In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, olive oil, lemon juice, sriracha, garlic, and black pepper until well combined.

  4. Coat the cauliflower:
Pour the sauce over the cauliflower florets and toss well to coat each piece evenly.

  5. Bake:
Spread the coated cauliflower in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 25–30 minutes, tossing halfway through, until the cauliflower is tender and slightly crispy at the edges.

  6. Serve:
Remove from the oven and serve warm. Enjoy as a side dish, snack, or appetizer!

Notes

For extra crunch, try broiling the cauliflower for the last 2-3 minutes of baking.

You can adjust the spice level by increasing or decreasing the amount of sriracha according to your preference.

This dish is also delicious served with a drizzle of extra honey or a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
