Description

A creamy and sweet hot chocolate infused with white chocolate and a hint of strawberry or raspberry flavor, creating a delightful pink hue and a festive touch.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 4 oz (113 g) white chocolate, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon strawberry or raspberry extract (optional, for enhanced flavor)
  • 23 drops red food coloring (optional, for color)
  • Whipped cream, for topping
  • Sprinkles or mini marshmallows, for garnish

Instructions

  • Heat the Milk: In a medium saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until it’s warm but not boiling.

  • Add White Chocolate: Add the chopped white chocolate to the warm milk, stirring continuously until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth.

  • Flavoring: Stir in the vanilla extract and, if desired, the strawberry or raspberry extract for added flavor. Add a few drops of red food coloring to achieve the desired pink hue.

  • Serve: Pour the pink hot chocolate into mugs. Top with whipped cream and garnish with sprinkles or mini marshmallows.

Notes

  • For a dairy-free version, substitute the whole milk with coconut milk and use dairy-free white chocolate.
  • Adjust the sweetness by adding sugar or a sweetener of your choice if needed.
