Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup sparkling water or club soda
- 1/2 cup rose water (make sure it’s food grade)
- 1 tbsp vanilla syrup (or 1/2 tsp vanilla extract mixed with 1 tbsp simple syrup)
- 1/2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
- Ice cubes
- Rose petals (edible, for garnish)
- Lemon slices (for garnish)
- Fresh mint leaves (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the glass: Fill a glass with ice cubes.
- Mix the mocktail: In a cocktail shaker or separate glass, combine the rose water, vanilla syrup (or homemade vanilla mixture), and lemon juice. Stir or shake gently to combine.
- Add sparkling water: Pour the sparkling water or club soda into the glass with the ice, followed by the rose and vanilla mixture.
- Stir gently: Stir the drink gently to combine all ingredients without losing the fizz from the sparkling water.
- Garnish: Add a few edible rose petals to the drink for a beautiful touch, then garnish with a slice of lemon and a sprig of mint, if desired.
- Serve: Serve immediately and enjoy this aromatic, refreshing treat!
Notes
- You can adjust the amount of vanilla syrup depending on how sweet you like your mocktail. If you prefer a less sweet version, use less syrup or simply omit it and add more lemon juice.
- Make sure to use edible rose petals to avoid any non-food-safe varieties. Fresh rose petals are preferred, but dried edible rose petals can also work.
- For an extra touch of sweetness, you can rim the glass with sugar before serving.
