  • Diet: Vegetarian

Description

This Vanilla Rose Mocktail is a refreshing and elegant non-alcoholic drink that combines the delicate floral flavor of rose with the sweet, smooth essence of vanilla. Perfect for Valentine’s Day, special occasions, or when you want a luxurious yet light beverage, this mocktail is sure to impress.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup sparkling water or club soda
  • 1/2 cup rose water (make sure it’s food grade)
  • 1 tbsp vanilla syrup (or 1/2 tsp vanilla extract mixed with 1 tbsp simple syrup)
  • 1/2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Ice cubes
  • Rose petals (edible, for garnish)
  • Lemon slices (for garnish)
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  • Prepare the glass: Fill a glass with ice cubes.
  • Mix the mocktail: In a cocktail shaker or separate glass, combine the rose water, vanilla syrup (or homemade vanilla mixture), and lemon juice. Stir or shake gently to combine.
  • Add sparkling water: Pour the sparkling water or club soda into the glass with the ice, followed by the rose and vanilla mixture.
  • Stir gently: Stir the drink gently to combine all ingredients without losing the fizz from the sparkling water.
  • Garnish: Add a few edible rose petals to the drink for a beautiful touch, then garnish with a slice of lemon and a sprig of mint, if desired.
  • Serve: Serve immediately and enjoy this aromatic, refreshing treat!

Notes

  • You can adjust the amount of vanilla syrup depending on how sweet you like your mocktail. If you prefer a less sweet version, use less syrup or simply omit it and add more lemon juice.
  • Make sure to use edible rose petals to avoid any non-food-safe varieties. Fresh rose petals are preferred, but dried edible rose petals can also work.
  • For an extra touch of sweetness, you can rim the glass with sugar before serving.
