Ingredients

Scale

For the Base:

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 1 onion, chopped

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

For the Vegetables:

  • 1 cup carrots, sliced

  • 1 cup potatoes, diced

  • 1 cup corn kernels

  • 1 cup green beans, chopped

For the Sauce:

  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup

  • 1 tsp dried thyme

  • 1 tsp dried parsley

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. In a large skillet, cook ground beef with chopped onion and garlic until browned. Season with salt and pepper. Drain excess fat.

  3. In a large bowl, combine cooked beef mixture with carrots, potatoes, corn, and green beans.

  4. Stir in cream of mushroom soup, thyme, and parsley until evenly mixed.

  5. Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish.

  6. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly on top.

  7. Bake uncovered for 45–55 minutes or until vegetables are tender and cheese is bubbly and golden.

  8. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a splash of Worcestershire sauce to the beef mixture.

Use fresh or frozen vegetables—if frozen, adjust cooking time as needed.

You can substitute cream of mushroom soup with cream of chicken or celery for variation.
