Description

A creamy, zesty guacamole made with ripe Hass avocados, lime juice, cilantro, red onion, and jalapeño. It’s fresh, flavorful, and just like the one from your favorite burrito place!


Ingredients

  • 2 whole Hass avocados

  • 2 teaspoons lime juice

  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped

  • ¼ cup red onion, finely chopped

  • ½ whole jalapeño (including seeds), finely chopped

  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt


Instructions

  1. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a medium bowl.

  2. Add lime juice and salt. Mash until smooth or slightly chunky, depending on your preference.

  3. Stir in the red onion, cilantro, and jalapeño until evenly combined.

  4. Taste and adjust salt or lime juice as needed.

  5. Serve immediately for best flavor and freshness.

Notes

Use ripe Hass avocados for best texture and flavor.

Keep the guacamole from browning by pressing plastic wrap directly onto the surface when storing.
