Description

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • For the Garlic Parmesan Sauce:

    • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
    • 4 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 teaspoon dried parsley (or fresh, chopped)
    • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
    • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
    • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
    • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional, for a hint of brightness)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

  • Prepare the wings: Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. This step is key to getting crispy wings. Place them in a large bowl and toss them with olive oil, salt, and pepper to coat evenly.

  • Bake the wings: Arrange the wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 30-35 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are golden brown and crispy on both sides.

  • Make the garlic Parmesan sauce: While the wings are baking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic. Remove from heat and stir in the parsley, oregano, Parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes (if using), and lemon juice (if using).

  • Toss the wings: Once the wings are done baking, remove them from the oven and immediately toss them in the garlic Parmesan sauce until fully coated.

 

  • Serve: Serve the wings hot, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese or parsley if desired. Enjoy with a side of ranch or blue cheese dipping sauce.

Notes

  • You can also fry the wings for extra crispiness. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot and fry the wings until golden brown, then toss them in the garlic Parmesan sauce.
