Description

These Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls are the perfect no-bake treat! With a rich peanut butter center coated in smooth chocolate, they make a delicious snack or dessert for any occasion. Sweet, creamy, and totally irresistible, these little bites are easy to make and require just a few ingredients. Perfect for holiday gifting or as a year-round indulgence!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 1/2 cups semisweet or milk chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil (for the chocolate coating)

Instructions

  • Make the Peanut Butter Mixture:
    • In a large bowl, combine the peanut butter and softened butter. Use a hand mixer or stand mixer to beat them together until smooth and creamy.
    • Gradually add the powdered sugar and graham cracker crumbs, mixing until the mixture is well combined. The dough should be thick and firm enough to roll into balls.
  • Shape the Peanut Butter Balls:
    • Roll the peanut butter mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter. Place the balls onto a parchment-lined baking sheet or tray.
  • Chill the Peanut Butter Balls:
    • Once the balls are formed, place the tray in the refrigerator or freezer for at least 30 minutes, or until the peanut butter balls are firm.
  • Prepare the Chocolate Coating:
    • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and vegetable oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.
  • Coat the Peanut Butter Balls:
    • Once the peanut butter balls are firm, dip each ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring it is fully coated. Use a fork or toothpick to help with dipping and to let any excess chocolate drip off.
    • Place the chocolate-coated balls back onto the parchment-lined tray.
  • Set the Chocolate:
    • After all the balls are coated, refrigerate them again for about 30 minutes to set the chocolate.
  • Serve:
    • Once the chocolate is firm, the chocolate peanut butter balls are ready to be enjoyed! Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate instead of semisweet or milk chocolate.
  • You can roll the peanut butter balls in sprinkles, crushed nuts, or even drizzle them with extra chocolate for added texture and flavor.
  • These treats can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week or frozen for longer storage (up to 3 months).
