Ingredients

For the Cinnamon Sugar Filling:

½ cup packed brown sugar

Optional Cream Cheese Frosting:

4 oz cream cheese, softened

¼ cup butter, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

Make the Dough:

In a large bowl, whisk together warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.

Add eggs and melted butter; mix well.

Gradually stir in bread flour and salt to form a soft dough.

Knead by hand or with a dough hook for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for 1–1.5 hours or until doubled in size.

Prepare the Filling:

In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon.

Punch down the dough and roll it into a 14×9-inch rectangle on a floured surface.

Spread softened butter over the dough and sprinkle evenly with cinnamon sugar mixture.

Roll the dough tightly from the long edge to form a log.
